R. Jay Shetlin

Dr. Shetlin has had the privilege of living and practicing in Asia (South Korea), the United States, and Europe (Portugal). This has given Dr. Shetlin a 'global perspective' in specialized health care and sensitivity to the patients experience.

Dr. Shetlin has a special sensitivity to to people facing life's challenges or dealing with hardships and handicaps. With his lovely wife, who is deaf, and their youngest son who had Cerebral Palsy, Dr. Shetlin and his family have learned to push through adversity. His positive attitude and inspirational teaching style is a joy and comfort to read or listen. Dr. Shetlin has way of taking complex health data and common life challenges for giving each individual the education, confidence and skills to handle their specific situation.
