Sam Ladner

Sam Ladner is a sociologist and UX researcher. She specializes in researching the future of work and productivity. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, has driven dozens of innovative online products. She has a history of "firsts" -- she was the first person to achieve the rank of Principal Researcher at Amazon, and the first to achieve Senior Principal Researcher at Workday. She has held roles at Microsoft, Amazon, and most recently Workday. She is currently semi-retired, taking on various speaking engagements, the occasional gnarly research project, and practicing and studying photography. She lives in the California Bay Area with her husband and cat.
