Tim Brown

Tim Brown serves as the director of sports camps for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Central, OH. For more than a decade, he has worked with youth as a teacher, coach and motivational speaker. His passion is empowering young people, especially boys, to reach their full potential in education and in life.

Tim Brown is Ohio Department of Education licensed teacher and has experience as a 5th grade Boys classroom teacher and a PEAK Teacher in Columbus Public Schools.

Coach Brown is the Team Character Coach for several area high school sports teams and speaks at FCA Huddles, Churches and Youth Conferences. He has served as a chapel speaker for Ohio Dominican and Ohio State Universities football teams. He has served as a conference speaker for Bowling Green, Kent State, Ohio University, and Savannah State Universities and, Mr. Brown has led workshops at the University of Akron’s Black Male Summit. He is a school assembly speaker, leads school based Boys Won’t Be Boys Uncommon Life Book Clubs and has spoken at the “Men’s Rally in the Valley” in Youngstown, Ohio.

In addition to his book, Boys Won’t Be Boys, he has authored the book Uncommon Athletes.

Tim is a native of East Cleveland, Ohio. He received his B.A. degree from Ohio University and began his professional career in Columbus, Ohio where he still resides with his wife and children.
