Don Tate

Don Tate (1949-) was born in Brisbane, Australia- the eldest of eight children. He left school at age 14, fought in the Vietnam War as an infantryman and was wounded in action with the 9th Battalion on July 19th 1969. He taught in NSW High schools, and is the author of two of Australia's most extraordinary books- his memoir, The War Within, and Anzacs Betrayed.
