Kenneth D. Schultz

My best memories of my childhood in Southern Florida are of boating. That led to a lifetime interest in the sea, and, in part, to my three year stint as lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. I'm also fascinated by history including military history. Also as a child I aspired to be a writer and as a teenager I submitted a story to one of my mother's magazines. It was rejected.

Now I'm blessed by now being able to bring my interests to life on paper. I hope you enjoy my most recent historical fiction novel, Drake's Botanist. Thank you to my readers for their favorable reviews of Magellan's Navigator, The King's Galley, and The Sultan's Galley. My goal is to tell an entertaining story while staying true to historical events. And at times I think I bring a different viewpoint to those events than the most common interpretations.

I also have a financial thriller, Download, under my K.D. Schultz pen name. This story was inspired by my years as head of an investment firm.

I personally enjoy reading and writing science fiction. Mindfield and Mindgames are space opera with a twist. Mindgames can be read stand alone, but is best read after Mindfield. These books occur some forty years after my two Truth-Teller books, Truth-Teller Rebellion and Truth-Teller Revenge.
