Eric Kaufmann helps leaders make better decisions by seeing what they can't see about themselves.

Having lived and worked in South Africa, Israel, and USA, he has spent twenty-five years in executive leadership roles – from sales and management at Lanier/3M and Corning to CEO, board chairman, and executive coach to leaders at companies like Verizon, Facebook, SunPower, and Dr. Bronner's (where he currently serves as Board Chairman). In 1999, he launched Sagatica, an executive development consultancy that has guided hundreds of executives through transformative leadership work.

Eric's unique approach blends two seemingly opposite worlds. He brings deep business rigor – decades of experience in strategy, operations, and organizational leadership. And he brings forty years of contemplative training in the Zen tradition, including a year-long silent retreat in a cabin he built in the mountains of New Mexico. This rare combination allows him to help senior leaders access what he calls Ego-Myopia™ – the unconscious patterns that trap brilliant executives – and move toward grounded, authentic, strategic presence.
