Pete Beckary

Pete was born & raised in beautiful rural Western New York State. Think Buffalo Snowbelt - LOTS of snow - where everyone learned learned how to drive & thrive in it! He was both a Ski Patroller & Ski Instructor at different times.

Pete served in US Air Force from 1982-86 as an Aircraft Electrician on various aircraft while keeping his unit comrades trained in CPR & combat first aid. His first assignment was on the flightline keeping C-130G/H aircraft flying at Little Rock AFB, AR. The next assignment was a specialized unit - Combat Logistics Support Squadron (Tinker AFB, OK) - which had a wartime mission of maintaining aircraft at forward-deployed bases. Aircraft Battle Damage Repair was the buzz-phrase. While never deployed during a conflict Pete served in various locations to either correct problems (A7D Corsair), perform depot-level maintenance (B-52G/H), or upgrade certain platforms (E-3A/B AWACS).

Pete spent several years competing in cycling ranking #2 in AR in his 1st year of competition (1984).

Pete has BS Degrees in both Finance (Rochester Institute of Technology) & Accounting (SUNY Brockport). While @ RIT he studied abroad in northern England & interned at a GE plant outside of London.

Pete has published Lancaster County Signs of Faith and No One Is Fatherless and is working on more projects to bring more titles to Amazon.
