I have been painting and exhibiting for over forty years and truly love what I do. Watercolor is my primary medium and color and authentic emotional expression are my primary interests. My calendar has been published annually since 1981. My website features a sampling of the hundreds of paintings I have created.
I have always used my work in support of the causes and non-profit organizations I believe in, among them domestic violence prevention, the environment, peace, social justice, health and women's issues. More detailed information about this can be viewed on my website.
I am an avid gardener and some of the material I paint is inspired by my garden. Many of my landscapes are inspired by my travels, including exhibits abroad - one at the Monestario del El Escorial in Spain, and another from a trip to China as a member of an arts delegation.
I had an 80-piece retrospective at the Berman Museum in 2005, and my book Blueprints for Paradise was published in conjunction with that exhibit. The preview of that exhibit benefitted The Jane Goodall Institute.
I hope you'll sign up for my mailing list when you visit my self-named website!
