Master Phil Nguyen

Hello, my name is Master Phil, author of the book "Black Belt Excellence - 9 Secrets Reveal the Truth About Family Martial Arts Training: A Family That Kicks Together, Sticks Together!"

I'm a 7th Degree Black Belt in Taekwon-Do, a 1st Degree Black Belt in Jiu-Jitsu, and a White Belt in Parenting (and always will be because my 2 ninja sons teach me something new every day).

I am a martial artist first, an author/speaker/trainer/facilitator second, and an entrepreneur third.

Thanks to my martial arts training, I have travelled the journey of being bullied as a child, becoming a bully myself in grade school, and eventually coming full circle becoming an award-winning "Bully Buster", teaching 1000's of children assertiveness skills to deal with conflict peacefully and confidently.

Thanks to my martial arts training, I've developed a strong mind, body, and spirit, and am grateful to have been recognized as "Citizen of the Year", "Top Forty Under 40", "Mayor's City Builder Award Winner", "Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal Recipient", and "Family Business of the Year" in my community.

Thanks to my martial arts training, I gained the confidence to succeed since I was a teenager. Yes, self-confidence is the greatest gift I received from my training.

Ultimately, all of my work is about helping people gain more wisdom, inspiration, and enlightenment in their lives through martial arts training, martial arts wisdom, and martial arts philosophy.
