Peter Franklin

Peter Franklin is an expert on cultural complexity and global competence. For more than 30 years Peter Franklin has advised, coached, trained and addressed countless people from organisations working, managing and leading in conditions of cultural diversity and complexity. He helps them to handle and leverage the complexity they are confronted with.

Since 1998 Professor Franklin has taught and written about intercultural communication and intercultural management at a university in the south of Germany. There, and also in China and across Europe, he works on various BA, MA and MBA programmes. He is a member of his university's Konstanz Institute of Corporate Governance. He works and publishes in both English and German.

Peter Franklin was brought up on the Kent coast in the UK - within sight of France and Belgium. After graduating from Cambridge University, he worked in Germany intending to stay for two years but spent the rest of his life there. He now lives on the banks of a lake in south-west Germany - within sight of Switzerland.
