Combining childhood innocence with historical verisimilitude and a dash of magical fantasy--that was the impulse behind the start of Linda's writing career. A travel log about the city, St. Petersburg, Russia inspired her to write her first fantasy-adventure book, Come Along With Me.
Linda wanted to bring appreciation to American children and their parents for the magical city known for its culture, architecture, tree-lined parks, and its bridges by the hundreds. This led her to a second book, The Palace Buzz, a wacky romp coated in outrageously true history.
Linda's long-range goal is to expand the imaginations of children while simultaneously exposing them to a variety of cultures and histories. The thought Linda holds continuously in her mind is that as a world community we all need to have an appreciation for the history and cultures of those outside our borders. Linda hopes to point children and their parents to that end through writing fantasy.
Linda has lived in Venice, Florida with her husband, Tom, since 1990. She and her husband married in 1968, and have one son.
