Aideen Walsh

Aideen was born in Dublin, Ireland. She married when she was 22, had 3 children and, after 21 years of marriage, separated and later was divorced.

In her mid-40s, she attended Dublin City University, studying computer science at night and working full time during the day. In 1994 she emigrated to America, having won a green card in the lottery.

She met her second husband on the internet, and when they married, she added a stepson to her family.

She worked as a software quality assurance engineering manager until she retired in May 2021, when she started working on the Escape Route Series. She and her husband moved to Lago Vista, Texas, where they have a lakeside home. When she is not writing, she enjoys fishing or boating on Lake Travis.

Note: The Escape Route Series' intended audience is teens through to adults. The description in the details has a mistake, which I have reported to Amazon, but they have not corrected. It should read 14 - 18+. However, the very important plus sign is missing.
