I've always loved a good story—once in high school, I read 28 books in a week. I took that passion into my married life and can recall more that a few times when Brenda (my wife) would say to our four children, "come on kids, let's go find something to do, Mommy's a book widow." At 57, I'm still working on finding balance in my life.
I'm addicted to stories. I should probably read more nonfiction but I find myself drawn to memoirs and novels. But like I said, I'm still working on the balance thing!
I think we all need a good bit of hope an encouragement, so the stories I gather have that in common. If you like "Chicken Soup for the Soul," "Stories for the Heart" or are a fan of Paul Harvey's "The Rest of the Story," then you'll love my books.
Thanks for stopping by.
