Dechay Watts

Dechay Watts is the co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer at SPROUT Content, a content marketing agency helping busy entrepreneurs, marketers and the teams they inspire. She enjoys leveraging her technology and marketing background to analyze client needs, set measurable goals and develop winning, authentic content strategies to drive leads and sales.

She began her marketing career in corporate America and transitioned to small technology start ups before launching SPROUT Content with her business partner in 2009. Dechay has been a guest speaker at Chi*Atlanta and guest blogger for SEO.com, Lendio and LOHAS. She has an MBA from the University of West Florida and BA in Public Relations from the University of Florida.

In her spare time, Dechay is determined to save the world – and any stray dog, cat or carbon emission that crosses her path. No matter what organization or activity she participates in, she finds herself researching, listening, and filtering through the noise to find the most engaging story.

Originally from Pensacola, FL, Dechay now lives in Denver, Colorado...although New York City is always where she feels most at home.
