Nancy Pulling Best

After years of writing, Nancy Pulling Best published her first book, Learning to Cook Adirondack, in 2011. The 4th generation Adirondack native is originally from Thendara. The Town of Webb graduate has loved writing since junior high school. Best’s book, Learning to Cook Adirondack, is a collection of recipes and memories. In November 2013, Best published her second book, Anna The Spider. The text was written nearly 50 years ago and with the help of illustrator Mat Capron, Anna has come to life.
