Robert Ferre

Over the past twenty years I have written a number of self-published books (through Kindle Direct Publishing) that fall into three topics: Labyrinths, proton therapy, and a memoir (Cruise of the Heart). For more than two decades, I was a full-time labyrinth maker, as well as writing instruction manuals and a history of the labyrinth revival. I have also lectured widely on the subject. In 2016, I was treated for prostate cancer with a revolutionary type of radiation called proton therapy. That led to writing several books and founding three related websites. Anyone facing a cancer diagnosis needs to know about proton therapy. And, along the way, I wrote a book that describes in detail the cruise industry, a specific trans-Atlantic cruise, and the love story of how my now wife and I became a couple while on a romantic cruise. I think that's my best book. I love to write but not to market, so my books are not well-known. I still have a few more books in me that would like to come out, if I am so fortunate.
