Reverend Dr. Mindy Johnson-Hicks is a preacher, pastor, and advocate working at the intersection of spiritual formation, emotional wellbeing, and justice. She holds a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership and Biblical Preaching from Asbury Theological Seminary, where her research explored how intentional spiritual practices shape emotional health.
She has served congregations within the United Methodist Church, then served as Executive Pastor with Redemptive Work, a ministry restoring dignity, fostering connection, and reimagining how the church engages the world.
Through her writing and teaching, Mindy invites people into a deeper, more honest faith grounded in generosity, justice, and wholeness. She shares life and ministry with her wife, Amy Johnson-Hicks.
