Vicky M Ford

Vicky Ford was born in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia to a family on the move. She moved four times before she turned seven. The family finally settled in a small town right in the centre of B. C. where she went to school, met her high school sweetheart, married and raised four children. During the five long months of winter, she sits by the fire, writing and dreaming of escaping to tropical, faraway beaches with her husband and family.

Vicky's first published work is a story in Chicken Soup For The Soul's Angels Among Us, which was released in 2012. A mysterious miracle, which save her baby girl from a terrible accident, convinced Vicky that Angels are real.

When the children were small Vicky started writing stories for them and about them. As with all children, her 4 young ones were adventurous, curious, funny, creative and sometimes a bit bratty. It all made it's way into her stories. And the story ideas continue to flow with the inspiration of her grandchildren and from her own way of seeing the world through a child's eyes.

Currently she has several children's book published.

How Do You Do? Can You Moo, Too? is a funny poem filled with silly words and animal sounds for young ones testing out their own vocabulary.

Does A Lizard Have A Gizzard?, also a poem, is filled with silly questions to inspire children's imagination and introduce some really funny ideas for parents and their young ones to explore.
