Dr. Tim Thayne has spent 30 years working with teens, couples, and families, holding master's and doctoral degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy. He co-founded leadership development, wilderness, and residential treatment programs and served as a primary therapist and program owner before founding Homeward Bound, an aftercare company built to help families sustain the gains made in treatment once their teen came home. Through Homeward Bound and the creation of the Family Bridge platform, Tim and his team have worked with thousands of families and their treatment programs to help navigate the journey home.
That work was the foundation for the book and podcast "Not By Chance: How Parents Boost Their Teen's Success In and After Treatment." It continued to grow until he ultimately founded Trustyy — the complete system and technology built to protect treatment progress at scale.
Outside of guiding Trustyy's vision, Tim can be found running long distance races, working on the family farm, or roping in anyone nearby for a quick game of corn hole. He lives in Utah with his wife Roxanne and their children and grandchildren.
