Jane M. Newby

Jane M. Newby is a former lawyer and teacher. She has lived in Japan, Bulgaria, China, and New York City, and travelled extensively in between, connecting to the cultures she visits through the people, food, art, music, history, and wildlife. She continues to travel and explore. A writer for most of her life, Jane began to publish her writings after retiring from practicing law. She publishes poetry, fiction and narrative nonfiction, and has ten books out, nine of them available on Amazon. She also draws and paints and some of the covers of her books feature her artwork. She has completed and published her third novel, Stalking the Wild Snow Monkey, about Americans living in Japan, and is halfway done on a book about her experiences in China, entitled China Fun-Fun.
