Emma Wagner is a bestselling German author and has achieved #1 spots on Amazon in Germany as well as being a #1 BILD bestselling author there. She was born in 1982 in the northwestern German state of Lower Saxony. She moved to Heidelberg to study German and biology. This magnificent city more than lived up to its reputation in Emma’s case because she lost her heart in Heidelberg. She continues to live there – happily married now – with her husband and their three grade-school children.

Since the success of her debut novel in 2013, which even became a German Kindle Best Seller in 2015, she can’t stop writing. She’s not lacking for ideas either, just for the time. After all, she has an incredible family that is the most important thing in the world to her.

Even so, she has sold over one million books in Germany since then.

Each of her novels has reached the Top 10 or even the Top 5 on the German Amazon Charts and remained for months in the Top 100. Such as “Du. Für immer” which remained in the Top 100 for over six months.

Moreover, “Eine Schildkröte macht noch keine Liebe” achieved 5th place in the Lovelybooks Readers’ Choice Award in 2016 behind Nicholas Sparks. In 2017, she was a nominated finalist for the German Kindle Storyteller Award for “Wir. Für immer.”
