James Gronvold

The author lives in Northern California after working for more than twenty years as a counselor and administrator at The Pine Street Inn homeless shelter in Boston. He started writing poems over fifty years ago after reading Robert Frost and Dylan Thomas. "Back River" was his first published collection. The title refers to the tidal marsh of the Back River where he lived on Boston's South Shore. His second collection is "Oak Bones".
