Bill Calhoun

Bill Calhoun has never been particularly good at staying in one lane.

For nearly four decades, he lived and worked overseas, building a career that crossed television, business, marketing, live production, fitness, public speaking and a few other things that probably shouldn’t fit on the same résumé.

His work took him throughout Asia, Europe and the United States and put him in rooms with corporate executives, television crews, performers, government officials and everyday people trying to figure out what comes next. Along the way, he produced and directed major productions, worked with international brands, spoke to audiences around the world and learned something far more useful than any job title: people are complicated.

Eventually, Bill returned to the United States and took an unexpected turn into public service and the justice system—work that brought him even closer to people when life is messy, consequences are real and polished answers don’t mean much.

That experience changed the way he looks at human behavior, resilience, communication, second chances and the strange directions a life can take.

His background includes journalism and government, theater, television production, coaching, fitness, behavioral communication and decades of experience working across cultures.

Bill writes the same way he has lived: curious, direct and without much interest in pretending life is cleaner than it actually is.

He’s still figuring some of it out.

That’s probably the point.
