Born in Oregon and largely raised outside of the town of Silverton, Jacob Nelson started his career in the travel industry, later added EMT to his repertoire, currently works in real estate, and is an outdoor enthusiast. His earliest happy memories include tracking animals via their tracks in the snow and mud... and watching the world around him as it changed during the many seasons of the year.
He was more likely to be outside with a book in hand, typically perched high in a tree, than anywhere else. Though he no longer is found as often in trees, he is still quite the bibliophile and outdoors-man and enjoys nature in all its glory.
Jacob also has seen much of the world and has enjoyed many opportunities to see nature's fury close up and personal. Coupled with his intense love of the written word, he is the author of various books, some fiction and some non-fiction.
His fiction "Phantom" series is his way of honoring the gifted works of Lee Falk, and his best selling non-fiction series, that of "Get Prepped" is his way of helping others enjoy the world that he has come to enjoy so much.
He is also the co-author of a short fiction work created by his father, Russel Nelson.
May your travels always be safe!
