Ricardo V Pilon

With 19 years of practical airline management and management consulting experience at various organizational levels varying from line management to corporate management, Ricardo Pilon has worked in strategic planning, organization/governance, revenue management & pricing, alliances, marketing, distribution, network, and product planning in both passenger services and air cargo management. He has worked for and consulted with over 210 airlines and air cargo operators. In recent years, Ricardo has been heavily involved in business transformation and has served as a senior executive in medium-sized and large companies as interim-management. His airline and management consulting days date back to employment with KPMG and a dozen international airlines and airline start-ups since 1990.

In 1995, Ricardo launched his own airline practice as CEO of Millennium Aviation, Inc. to pursue his personal approach to airline management and help organizations transform themselves free from conventional thinking.

As a certified IATA Facilitator, Ricardo has also developed training courses for the International Air Transportation Association (IATA) and served part-time as Adjunct Professor at the International Aviation MBA at Concordia University in Montreal as well as at the Aviation MBA at B.U.A.A. University in Beijing, PRC between 2000 and 2008. He is a regular speaker at international conferences.

Having specialized in aviation management, Ricardo Pilon holds an MBA in International Aviation from Concordia University in Montreal, a Master of Science in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University in the United Kingdom, as well as a Bachelor of Science in International Management from the International Business School in the Netherlands.

Ricardo is also attending Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Mass., USA for the completion of the High Potentials Executive Leadership Program.

Ricardo now focuses on business model optimization, strategic planning and management, profitability performance enhancement and business transformation.
