Michael Huntley lives in Mooresville, NC with his wife Anita and his dachshund Chloe. "Skilley's Inlet" is his first novel and first published work of any kind. He has not yet received several advanced degrees in theoretical physics and English literature purchased from Diplomas-R-Us. Michael has not published a number of treatises on subjects ranging from alternative physics and reverse biology to the properties of molybdenum steel and extraterrestrial communication by digestive processes. Following an unsuccessful and unsettling foray into inorganic farming, he collaborated in a number of unpublished decodings of fairy tales and folk stories, and is not well noted for his belief that the best science fiction and mysteries contain science that is fictional and mysteries that remain mysterious to some degree. Michael is currently working on a sequel to "Skilley's Inlet" entitled "Bess Yates."
