Pedro Ponce

Pedro Ponce is the author of The Devil and the Dairy Princess: Stories (Indiana University Press, 2021), winner of the Don Belton Fiction Prize and a finalist for the 2021 Big Other Book Award for Fiction. He is also the author of Alien Autopsy, a collection of flash fiction that received honorable mention in the 2011 Dactyl Review Award contest, and Superstitions of Apartment Life, which won the 2008 Burnside Review Fiction Chapbook Competition. In 2012, he received a creative writing fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. His stories have appeared in numerous literary journals and anthologies, including Ploughshares, Alaska Quarterly Review, Gigantic, PANK, Copper Nickel, New Micro: Exceptionally Short Fiction, Boundaries Without: The Calumet Editions 2017 Anthology of Speculative Fiction, and Best Small Fictions 2019.
