Christopher Baker

I am Christopher C. Baker, M.D. I received my MD degree from Harvard Medical School and did my surgical training at UC San Francisco. In my forty year career in academic surgery I have worked at six different institutions. My surgical interests are in trauma, critical care, and general and colorectal surgery. For outside interests, I love movies, reading, snow skiing, scuba diving, and eating at fine restaurants. An aficionado of the martial arts, I have achieved a third degree black belt in taekwondo. Although I have multiple publications in academic journals, Six Blue Ducks is my first foray into the field of creative writing.
