Patricia Dixon is a Manchester-based, internationally bestselling author of 20 novels, widely acclaimed for her emotionally compelling women’s fiction and gripping psychological thrillers. Her storytelling explores the intricacies of family, the tension of hidden secrets, and the resilience of women in the face of betrayal, trauma, and change.
After initially self-publishing, Patricia signed with Bloodhound Books in 2017, where she released her breakout novel Over My Shoulder. Since then, her titles have frequently charted in the Kindle Top 100 and have built her a loyal readership across the UK and beyond.
In 2025, she signed a multi-book deal with Boldwood Books and along with re-publishing eleven of her psychological fiction titles, there are six frontlist titles planned and the first will be released in July 2026.
In addition to her writing, she serves as Commissioning Supervisor at Bloodhound Books, helping to shape the publisher’s growing list by scouting new talent and mentoring emerging authors.
Her novel Coming Home, a heartwarming, multi-generational story of love, family, and rediscovery, has recently been adapted into a screenplay and is currently out with agents and studios
