Charles Scott Link grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. He began writing stories during junior high school and was told by his eighth grade English teacher that she was going to see him in Oprah's book club one day. After feeding on the great feelings of that praise, Charles began thinking of new worlds to create and the people who lived in them. In high school, he began forming the world of Salinet as well as its history and the Deities that ruled over it. That is how The Wings of Fate was born.
After high school, Charles Scott Link became wrapped up in studies in college, majoring in and earning an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and then graduating with a Bachelors in Arts in East Asian Languages and Cultures. He then moved to Japan to begin working as an English teacher in a junior high school. During all of that, Charles spent 10 years sculpting, molding, and polishing The Wings of Fate. Finally, after a decade, he published his debut novel: the first installment in The Wings of Fate entitled "The Summoner Awaketh" in December of 2013.
Charles Scott Link has many more worlds planned out for future works, but is currently dedicating his time to his love for The Wings of Fate and is drafting the second installment. Look for it in 2014!
