Author, scholar, and leader Patrice S. Johnson is a generational change agent. It is her mission to be an instrument of empowerment for all people that they may prosper. Johnson doesn’t believe in limitations and has been blessed to accomplish what many take a lifetime to achieve. She published her first book My Father’s Kingdom in the spring of 2013 after being elected as one of the youngest elected officials in Muskegon Heights, Michigan. She is a proud graduate of Michigan State University where she studied Social Relations and Public Policy along with African and African American Studies. Johnson is now in the process of completing her doctorate in education. As a scholar she is devoted to finding policy solutions to structural racism particularly in urban education. Patrice has traveled to six countries and continues to engage on a global scale. Throughout her career she has been driven by her passion for social justice and stands as an advocate for at-promise youth. Thus, she is now the co-founder of Urban Education Partners. Johnson is committed to helping others realize the greatness on the inside of them and challenging people to pursue their dreams without limits.
