Ed Hodge

Ed Hodge (1977) is an author, media, communications and PR professional. He has penned three books on subjects close to his heart - Jewel in the Glen: Gleneagles, Golf and The Ryder Cup, Our Day in May and Make Mine A Double (both St Johnstone), as well as co-authoring a fourth book, Behind The Ryder Cup: The Players' Stories. Ed grew up in Perthshire, just along the road from The Gleneagles Hotel, and was a caddie and employee at the five-resort. He has also followed St Johnstone home and away since 1989, with the club's stunning trophy successes in 2014 and 2021 the highlights of their history. A University of St Andrews modern history graduate with over 20 years' previous experience in sports media and PR. Ed is the former Head of Comms at Scottish Golf.
