Nick Pernisco

In 2011, Nick was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and he has since become an outspoken advocate for those living with the illness. As a part of his life mission to advocate for those with Parkinson's and other neurological conditions and disabilities, Nick has written a series of books about Parkinson's, including Parkinson's Warrior: Fighting Back and Taking Control, Parkinson's Warrior: Deep Brain Stimulation, a Journey to Relief, and Parkinson's Warrior: Guide to Supplements, Natural Therapies, and Medical Marijuana.

Nick also co-founded Connected Neurosciences, a software company that develops self-tracking and self-study software for people with Parkinson's. He also manages Parkinson's Warrior, a Parkinson's wellness brand, with several books, an active blog, a Facebook group, a YouTube channel, and other resources to help those with Parkinson's live their best lives.
