Matthew Payne

Matthew Payne is a Trustee of the world-renowned lion conservation charity LionAid and has also recently been described as one of the new generation of 'wildlife warriors' by the legendary environmentalist Gareth Patterson in his autobiography 'My Lion's Heart.'

Matthew is a passionate advocate for better conservation education in schools, and in March 2014, Matthew was invited to speak at the Global March for Lions in London alongside conservationist and owner of Christian the Lion - John Rendall, LionAid Director Dr Pieter Kat and Game of Thrones actor Jerome Flynn.

Currently, Matthew is working on his second book, entitled 'The Savage and the Aggressor' which is due to be self-published in 2016.
