Mark Seltman was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. in 1947. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 1969 where he studied Industrial Design. After depleting and polluting the planet for fifteen years, Mark became internationally known as the "Guru of Garbage" for his innovative uses of recycled materials and his "Designing with Garbage" classes at Parsons School of Design and the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in NYC. Seven years later, Mark decided to specialize in the source of all garbage, 'Psychic Garbage'. Over the past thirty-five years, Mark has read tens of thousands of hands of people of every age, gender, race, color, size, shape, career, and socio-economic diversity. Mark has examined the hands of serial killers, celebrities, billionaires, corporate executives, and the people who work for them.
