Frank Amoroso

Mr. Amoroso generally writes historical fiction which explores the story behind the story. Before embarking on a writing career, Mr. Amoroso practiced law which he states is "a wonderful training ground for writing since it's all about communication and persuasion, with the added requirement of precision."

His latest novel, Korea: Forgotten Sacrifice, was inspired by the experiences of a Korean War veteran who served as a combat photographer for General MacArthur. This book takes the reader on a high-stakes adventure of danger, intrigue, and courage that will not be forgotten. Released to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the start of the so-called Forgotten War, it is poignant, heroic and tragic.

Frank Amoroso has had a lifelong love affair with baseball and believes the words of the Babe that, "Baseball was, is and will always be, to me, the best game in the world."

He is currently finalizing his novel about Babe Ruth that explores the themes of Babe's relationship with his father and other surrogate fathers in his life, the anti-German war hysteria during WWI, and Babe's first true love. Volume 3 of Wopper - How Babe Ruth Lost His Father and Won the 1918 World Series Against the Cubs, entitled The Series provides the explosive conclusion to the trilogy.
