Alan Jarrett

After selling a small specialty bakery and three coffee shops that were owned and operated in South America, it was decided to relocate in 1985. Alan lived in the U.S. for 30 years before retiring again to South America.

Interests are racquetball, building recumbent bikes, an avid coffee enthusiast, dark chocolate aficionado, photography, reading, public speaking, voice-over, acting, speaking to anything or anyone who will stand still, and writing. "After more than 50 years of writing about these things it’s time to publish some content."

Returning to Ecuador has been the dream for nearly 50 years and as of 2014 is now complete.

Married for 49 years has resulted in a family of four sons with 13 grandchildren, ranging in ages from 8 years old to teenagers at 13, 16 and 18. The first "adult" is around the corner!

Alan’s first published eBook, Ecuador In Your Pocket, is now available through Kindle. His newest eBook, Enduring Paradise, is also on Kindle. A 3rd is due out soon.
