Lon Lawrence

Lon Lawrence (1951-) was born on his Norwegian Grandfather's farm in rural Wisconsin. He spent the first 30 years of his life working and growing up in Wisconsin, then moved to New Mexico in 1982 where he currently resides. He has written several books, published many magazine articles for flying magazines, and was senior editor for Homebuilt Rotorcraft. He attended the University of New Mexico where he got his Bachelor's Degree in Education in 1992, then taught school for many years before going into law enforcement. A Vietnam Veteran, pilot, author, ham radio operator, world traveler, RV enthusiast and camper, motorcyclist, photographer, adventurer, and too many other hobbies to list, Lon has enjoyed a long and varied life.
