William E. Hyche

William E. Hyche was born in San Antonio, Texas and grew up in McAllen, Texas. Bill is a writer, artist, entrepreneur and speaker. He has co-founded, grown and sold several technology companies in the health care sector. He is currently the President of Common Good Press and Leading Educators.

Bill is the author of The Right Moment, The Handbook for Success and Be Smart Be Safe. All three books were written out of his love for his family and community. The Right Moment is a collection of quotations for living an inspired life. He wrote the book as a gift for his two daughters. He wrote the Handbook for Success as a resource for his five grandsons - and young people everywhere. The goal of the Handbook is to provide a value-based foundation for thriving in school and succeeding in business and in life. Be Smart Be Safe was written to provide young people with education regarding proper interaction with Law Enforcement, especially at traffic stops. The goal of the book is to promote youth and officer safety, encourage mutual respect and create a better understanding of the law. The Be SMART + Be SAFE curriculum satisfies the educational requirements of Texas SB30. The curriculum is is also available as a Community Outreach resource for Law Enforcement Agencies.

Bill enjoys art, running, golf, fishing and spending time with his grandsons. He and his wife Lenora live in Bee Cave, Texas.
