Donna McGee

Hi! As a new author, I am excited to be here. My book, Matthew's Discovery, was a long and wonderful journey in the making. The positive feedback from my readers has been wonderful and I hope my next book, Matthew's Quest, is met with the same enthusiasm. I love contemporary fiction/fantasy as it brings out the imagination with touching reality. But I am also a fan of murder mysteries. Which by the way I am working on one also! One of my favorite authors in that genre is Lawrence Sanders. I think I have read all his books twice and some even more. Since I started writing six years ago, I don't read as much as I would like to though. I put a lot of time into my research, which leaves me wanting to learn even more and then I have a tendency to get off track! There is a plethora of information available on the internet and it just amazes me! But usually I am reminded by my patient, loving dog, that I am over zealous with my work and it's time for her walk.

To me writing is challenging and invigorating. I never know exactly where things will end when I start, but to me, that is the most exciting and rewarding thing about writing.
