BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Wayne A. Johnson is an Associate Professor and Program Coordinator of the Law Enforcement and Justice Administration, Forensic Science Programs at Harper College.
Prior to that he was a suburban Police Chief after serving as the Chief Investigator for the Chicago Crime Commission. He started his Law Enforcement career with the Chicago Police Department where he served for 25 years with distinction
He has been an Adjunct faculty member at several Chicago area universities since 1992.
He earned his Doctor of Education degree from Northern Illinois University, and Master of Science degree in Criminal-Social Justice from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois.
Besides being a law enforcement executive, he teaches, works as an investigative and training consultant for law enforcement and the security industry and as an Organized Crime authority.
He has lectured on Organized Crime, Homicide Investigations, Criminal Profiling, Violence in the Workplace and Gang Crimes, for law enforcement organizations and various security concerns across the country.
He has authored and co-authored articles in Law Enforcement and Education, most notably the Chicago Crime Commission’s last Organized Crime Report titled “The New Faces of Organized Crime".
