L. Spencer

After a career of more than thirty years as a wildlife biologist and university professor, I decided to try writing fiction. Under the pseudonym, L. R. Spencer, I have been writing liberally fictionalized tales based on my experiences, stories from friends, and gleanings from local newspapers. During my career, I was fortunate to work in Africa, Central America, and throughout the American West. I hope you enjoy the books.

My wife and I live in southwestern Montana with occasional trips to the bonefish flats of the Caribbean.
