Born Jon-Paul Alistair Cameron, fourth son of the sprawling Cameron clan, JP was introduced to the wonder of words with the magical tale of The Hobbit. Taking Lord Of The Rings to primary school as his book for class, it was the start of a long love of the fantastical and magical.
Through school and into his adult life, JP has continued to expand his story library, trying out other genres and inventing strange worlds. But his love of fantasy remains at the core of his writing. Living with his wife and their new four legged Eurasian companion - Indiana Bones - in the green hills of West Sussex now, he often is found gazing at the bookshelves groaning with volumes by Sir Terry Pratchett, Terry Goodkind, Terry Brooks, Stephen Donaldson and many, many more ... Lost but very happy. Otherwise, you may meet him along the coastline celebrating a rich history of piracy in fine company.
His published works to date include "Tales Of The Blade" and "The Spire" set, and an urban fantasy series "The Lycan Files". He has now begun a series of single standalone adventures - beginning with 'The Iron Fairy'. This will be followed by 'Hooked' and 'Wanted: Bait' in the coming year.
