P.A. Corkey

P.A. Corkey was born into a family of eccentric yet benevolent scientists and spent a childhood alternately disturbed and inspired by their evocative shop talk. She has a background in filmmaking, having earned an MFA in Directing from the American Film Institute, and is the award-winning writer/director of several short films -- 'White Trash on Fire,' 'Beef Jerky,' and 2013's 'Showstopper' -- and the feature 'Easy Listening'. She is also the creator of the graphic novel 'Cornboy,' an adaptation of her original screenplay by New York Times bestselling comic book writer Joshua Dysart. 'Gross Domestic Product' is her first novel.
