Michael Williams

These books explain the journey of becoming a capable adult after an injurious childhood due to parental drinking, violence, abuse, neglect, and dysfunction. They expose a thrilling journey of peace through self-discovery. The books tell of childhood in the voice of the enduring child. Anyone raised in dysfunction will connect to the child’s narrative. The child’s voice provides understanding that is supportive to the reader.

Read the reviews of the author's books and you will notice that people see their emotional blind spots because most of us have rarely truly listened to our inner-voice. Reading our inner-self is an essential skill best mastered in childhood. Otherwise, life becomes an inadvertent repeat of childhood because there is always a part of self that is cut-off. Childhood for many felt as if something was missing; because something was! This author fills that hole.

The author was in his thirties before discovering the things that had chiseled his life: parental drinking, violence, abuse, neglect, and dysfunction. Life can be sculpted, not in spite of our childhood, but because of. The process of the integration of our dreams is our spiritual evolution.

Childhood must be integrated into adulthood; consciously or unconsciously. In this author's case, it included a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, a Marine Corps Officer, an Associate in Insurance (AINS), and a Fine Arts Administrator.

The author does speaking engagements at hospitals, churches and recently at Community Resource Center in Encinitas, California along with a book signing. His hobbies are reading at the beach, reading, writing books, playing piano; and classical music.
