Kathleen Fields is married to Steve Fields and has lived in the Interior of Alaska for more than 38 years. She is blessed with a large, active, and joyful family, including many grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her personal interests include long walks, crocheting, sewing, and research.
Kathleen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and has served in various ministry roles, including Sunday School Teacher, Worship Leader, and Deacon. She also served as President of a Community Lighthouse Aglow for more than nine years, following seven years of service as Lighthouse Secretary.
Kathleen’s passion is helping others recognize the goodness and greatness of God. Through her research into dream symbols and the application of God’s Word, she hopes to encourage others to see how the Lord communicates with His people in daily life. The study of dream symbols has been a Holy Spirit-led passion for Kathleen for many years. Her Dream Symbols book series was created to share the excitement of discovering how God can guide, encourage, and answer prayers through dreams and visions, even while we are quietly resting.
In addition to her ministry and research, Kathleen has a deep love for the art of crochet. She has published several filet crochet and overlay mosaic crochet pattern books, including both ebooks and paperbacks, with more planned for the future. Many of her designs are inspirational and Christian-themed, featuring beautiful filet crochet and overlay mosaic techniques with easy-to-follow charts and instructions. Her patterns are also available as downloadable PDFs through Etsy and other online craft shops.
