K Quinn was born in Washington, Tyne and Wear, UK, to Barbara Quinn and Thomas Quinn, and being a single parent currently lives with her beautiful children. She studied Software Engineering, Business, Creative Writing, and then went on to study a Ba Hon Degree in Biomedical Sciences. She wrote the novel "Fall from Grace - Myth and Magic" which is to be the first of a series based upon recurring dreams that she felt had to be shared with a hidden meaning about religion and spirituality and about embracing who you are. She loves studying and currently resides in the Durham area of the UK. The mental health books written reflect the pathway to healing and journey of self-discovery that she has been on. Forced to not work for a time and very poorly with lupus a chronic illness, she was in a dark place, but managed to get out of it and not only rise but thrive and come back stronger. The mental health and trauma books reflect upon that journey, and hopefully will help others who are in the same dark place. One of her favourite sayings is, "Through times of trouble we do not just survive, but we thrive, and become the most exceptional version of ourselves imaginable."
