Phillip Corbett

Pastor Phillip Corbett is the founding pastor of First Assembly of God in Corrigan. As a boy, he assisted his pastor in tearing down an abandoned church, in which the lumber was used to build the forms for a new church building in a neighboring town. It was through this experience, that God called him at the age of twelve, to one day go back, to go back and one day build a church. He and his wife Rachel moved to Corrigan, in 1985 to lay the groundwork for the church they were preparing to begin. They have continued to serve faithfully for over thirty-one years of service in this small community they love so well.

He has established a healthy church, effecting his small community in East Texas. His passion for the presence of God has thrust his church into seasons of extended revivals. He believes the greatest churches are yet to be built. The most effective men of God are yet to be raised up. The most powerful ministries are yet to be birthed. He believes there is a revival coming, that will be of global proportions and that the finest hour of the Church is just ahead. He is pouring himself into pastors, and entire churches, to prepare them for the greatest harvest of souls ever. His congregation believes in his call to take this message across the United States and various parts of the world.

Phillip has authored four books titled, Running With Your Second Wind, Second Story Window, Second Thoughts and The Unseen Realm all published by Evergreen (Mobile, Alabama).
