Tom P. Ashe is originally from the Boston area, but has been living in New York City for over ten years. He is a photographer, educator, and consultant. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Imaging and Photographic Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology and Masters of Applied Science in Photography from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. Tom has worked for Polaroid and Kodak. Although he got to play with many great toys while working there, he knew he wasn't supposed to be an engineer. He wanted to teach and he has been teaching color management and digital printmaking as an adjunct professor at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City since 2003 and has been Associate Chair of the Masters in Digital Photography program at SVA since it started in 2007.
