Shanda Sharlow

Shanda Sharlow is a Fantasy novelist, who has written two full novels and one satirical short story in her chosen genre. Currently, she's working on several other novels ranging from Urban Fantasy to Science Fiction and even a (different sort of) Paranormal Romance. She calls the Pacific Northwest her home, and has primarily lived in southern Oregon and Washington throughout her life. Her favorite weather is rain, and has only once used an umbrella for its purpose--as a joke. Her favorite genre of fiction has always been any genre which allows the author and reader to create an entirely separate world from the usual one.

She is also the niece of the famous botanist Bonnie Templeton, and therefore briefly ventured into nonfiction to compile a pamphlet on the accomplishments made by her late great-aunt.
